Все началось с переустановки драйверов, что привело к тому, что пропал звук. Потом при входе в настройки биос были проставлены установки по умолчанию, а аудио устройство поставил Disable (было два варианта - Dis- и Enable).
При повторном входе в настройки биоса в меню аудио устройство уже оказалось 4 варианта настройек - AC`97, PCI модем, AC`97+PCI модем и Disable.
С тех пор не могу вернуть меню к прежним настройкам (изначально стоял звук Azalia). В сервисном центре, куда я прозвонил, меня заверили в том, что это все заложено в настройках биоса.
